I really do not think you will have any problems in DTW tomorrow. They are only expecting 1-3 inches, over a 36 hour period, and they can handle that quite well. I am flying out of DTW tomorrow and have no concerns at all, other that a delay to de-ice.

Obviously that's a commentary on the airports only; DTW/Detroit enjoys no MARTA, nor any nearby attractions/shopping should one be stuck there for a while....but the in-terminal Westin can be quite soothing.
The only place better to fly in the snow is through MSP. Now they
really know how to handle the white stuff!!
