If I've paid £10k to sit in BA first class, why can't they serve me what I want to drink? It's tasty, refreshing and lower in alcohol than many other wines. And only 40 calories per glass.
Better still, in these times of austerity, it would result in cost savings for BA were it to buy this at just £2 a litre, rather than all those fancy champagnes.
In all seriousness, I suppose there's no reason why BA can't have a perry from time to time. Doesn't have to be Lambrini or Babycham, but some sort of "the best of British" perry or cider might make a nice change.
And of course, if you know the right people at BA you
can get Lambrini on board - just call them up to make sure, and a bottle will be waiting for you.
