CIBC also did some 'enhancements' to their basic bank accounts
- $1/transaction after the first X numbers given..........

Along with the fact, they still fail to honor 5,000 of the 10,000 Aeroplan bonus miles for opening their Unlimited Chequing Account @ $12.95/mth

- 5000 for first debit card purchase
- 5000 for an auto paycheque (OR) two preauthorized bills.

They failed to honor the latter and bounced me around between Call Center/Branch

Then there's $170 to join Aerogold Infinite (Cardmember + Spouse Supplementary.

And other stuff like bank drafts/certified cheques are all extra costs........

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Spoke to the folks at YYZ MiniDO, and TD's Select Service sounds very attractive.

- $5000 minimum in account (free unlimited chequing account)
- Free safety box
- Free First Class Travel Visa Infinite (Plus Supplementary Card)
- Free USD Account and USD Visa Card
- Free certified cheque
- Free CDN/USD Drafts
- No TD network fee for using non-TD ATMs

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Therefore between AC, AP (fuel surcharges) and CIBC revenue enhancements, I may opt for TD. But one thing I have to admit, earning TD points suck!
