Yes if you spend 20,000 on SPG you get 25,000 Aeroplan.

If you spend 20,000 on Amex Gold you get 20, 000 aeroplan, but don\t forget the 2:1 ratio for all travel and gas, of which I get quite a bit.

I'm lazy, so what's better???
the other is still avion to either aa or BA with the 50 percent bonus or 30 percent from time to time. Just depends what your goals are..
