If your not going to make elite status its best to credit DL miles to AS but that does not apply in OP's case
I did 107K in 2011 with 36K of it on DL. Sure i don't get many upgrades on DL since AS MVPG are below DL FO but, the miles are more valuable. I also don't have change fees when I have my DL segments booked on AS ticket stock.
