Taxis are not a real option here because those at the airport charge a flat fee of about $12 to anywhere within Dorval and immediately adjacent communities. I suspect you would meet a similar situation if you tried to take a cab from the VIA station to the airport.

The AirConnect symbol appears on the Montreal-Ottawa-Montreal and Toronto-Montreal-Toronto timetables.
