With Jakarta's nightmarish traffic jams, forget about having any whirlwind tour. You will just get stucked for hours sitting in the car. Just check-in to a nice hotel and spend some time relaxing. IMO, the MO currently have the nicest rooms and I think the best service of the bunch. Also two huge shopping complex within walking distance. The Dharmawangsa is highly rated by many and should be worth a try. RC Pacific Place is also a good choice. It has a good club lounge and is connected to the Pacific Place Mall.
