Maybe a little white lie - ask one of her close friends to help out. Maybe the friend can say that they have to go to Spain for a trip and they (the friend)would love the company over the weekend. (you are already 'away' for your own business trip, so why not? and to boot, you can be the nice guy and 'give' your girlfriend the miles to go!) Your soon to be bride would be going for a 'girls weekend' That way, she'd be quite likely to get on the plane, and not totally surprised when the hotel room had already been checked in - but her friend would not be there, you would. Her friend could also give her some advice on outfits to bring - 'we are having a fancy dinner one night on me as a thanks for flying over' kind of thing, so you can be sure she is somewhat prepared...even if not, you can take her shopping for new outfits! You could even sit down with your GF and her friend in advance to help plan some day trips, that way you can get a feel for what your girlfriend might want to do.
