I'd go via NYC

Very good connections via NYC and you'll get a cheap(er) flight to NY

DL somestimes have JFK - LAS as low as 109/129$ o/w - not bad for a six hour flight

AA are cutting one flight so are going from 2 x daily to 1 x daily

MIAMI is another option - shorter flight MIA - LAS and AA have it in F for around 700$ (and its worth 210 TP's..)
