Hit the nail squarely on the head.

LAS is an exceptionally successful route, with the only other direct flight from the UK being with VS (shudder the thought...)... So, if BA can charge and people will pay, BA will continue to charge what people will continue to pay.

Places like Las Vegas have become "acceptable" destinations for a "short" break, so the demand for seats on these services outstrips supply.

There are rumours, and at the moment, only rumours, that we will be starting a second daily flight... How true that is, I don't know...

If you do go, hope you have a great time. Was not my cup of tea, but each to their own!
