I know the feeling - but this is just the beginning of the nickle and diming they have in store for us.... rumours range from charging for e-ticket print outs at the airport (if you don't bring you own to enter), to charging for even 1 kg of excess baggage (zero waiver authority with the counter staff).

I had a situation where my younger sister was flying and due to her age / in experience she was unaware of benefits. She was asked to pay 10 kgs excess baggage (She had 33kgs flying eco domestic). She gave them a Jet Plat Citi card to pay the fee (which entitles her to 15kgs excess baggage) and instead of having the decency to not charge her, the happily took the money. I have since raised the issue with Jet and will be getting credit back but this just goes to show how disgusting their attitude has become and how desperate they are for any revenue at the cost of loyalty.
