To become an EXP with just 2 months of travel (even with double EQM) requires Mileage runs. While many people can (and did) become EXPs or PLATs due to that, however the timing (Dec and Jan) left many others unable to travel
292/293 was a different story. If you either had family in India or had company business in India, you could travel to India four times a year, evenly spaced and still become EXP, assuming you had even a modicum of domestic travel
