My wife qualified for CO Silver in December 2011. Her welcome package arrived today, with a shiny CO Onepass Silver card with her name on it and an expiry date of 01/12. Wow. Who is responsible for the direct marketing / loyalty postage and printing budget at UA/CO??? What a waste of money to mail out a physical card that is valid for 3 weeks. Oh, the welcome package came with 4 drink vouchers that expire on the same date.
Really? This is the best thinking and implementation going on at the new United?
How about saving that wasted direct mail budget and spend it on some onboard WiFi already...
