First of all, no we won't. Not all are going to head to the media.
Second of all, the media doesn't care. They won't find this story interesting. "Bunch of snobby frequent fliers complaining they can't access airport lounges when flying while most of the country struggles to make end's meet." Taking it to the media would, if anything, make it worse. It certainly won't help at all, if any outlet would even publish anything.
I wouldn't bet on that. The story could be a much bigger piece than just United knowing in advance that their most frequent flyers wouldn't get elite benefits and how United's integration isn't going according to plan.
But I don't want to speculate on an angle that will get the press' attention. I'm sure we will find ways to be heard. Let's hope United gets there act together to 1. communicate their solution 2. implement the solution that won't leave their most frequent flyers without the benefits they have been promised.
