If you order a lacto vegetarian meal (VLML) both the starter and main course will be the same as the ones on the CW menu. If you wife prefers something else form the menu like the fish she will have to wait until everyone else has made their choice before we know if this is possible.
On some but not all of my flights the VLML food is remarkably different from that on the CW menu, and the CW menu food looked better. If this is a recent change from that then it's a positive step.
