So much for cloud computing.

I have seen people take PC boxes through airport security, and at HKG too (though I think they were heading to Australia on CX).

Personally it seems a palaver, it would seem more sensible to either hire or buy or use a hotel's screen + keyboard off a laptop. Many hotel TVs actually take a laptop's VDU output. Or even buy a PC there.
