Walking distance is always good, and the Westin seems to have everything around it...but if one jumps on the monorail for 5 mins and gets to Central KL and walks around...is that really that huge of a difference? Hmmm, something to consider on my part anyways.
Sheraton is rated very highly on TA, and the Westin is not too far off. LM seems to be rated lower, but it's just nice to have great options like this.
My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the LMKL back in December 2010. I guess I'd ask what's important to you? Are you distinguishing between the physical properties, or is it a matter of cost? We generally like to spend as few points as possible, and TBH, I thought the point savings was worth the slightly less "perfect" location. We were also upgraded to a Towers view room, which gave us a nice view of the Petronas Towers.
Honestly, the Asian SPG Category 2 and 3 properties are *very* nice.
