In fact, I have no idea what a GTEM is.
I would assume that most pilots also don't know what they are.
Stuff like that is rarely passed along to us.
I have had 1000s of kids, and adults, up front for photo ops, handouts, etc.
In 20+ yrs with the company I have NEVER had a passenger thank you letter passed on to me from mgt.
You might imagine why fewer and fewer crew choose to do much public interaction.
Sometimes easier to move "the bus"

from A to B, then go home.
