Another thing that can cause this is if you have BOTH your UA and OP #s on the reservation (e.g. if you are flying separate carriers on the same reservation or you switched #s at one point). I found that if BOTH are on your reservation (look at it online, at least on the UA side, you can see), and the UA# is first, that is what it will use, and it will say *G because that is how it displays the 1K (and I guess all *G UA levels)...

I didn't bother to see how it would treat me at that level and had them delete the UA# out of the reservation and then the BP picked up the OP status when they reprinted.
