I'm planning my honeymoon in Thailand in June of this year and am seeking advice on where to stay. It will be the rainy season for most of the country so we are planning to spend most of our time on an island on the gulf side (Ko Samui or Ko Tao). I'm wondering if anyone knows of a place that offers the amenities of a One Bedroom Private Residence Villa at the Four Seasons Samui, but cheaper. The amenities we are looking for are:

-oceanview suite or villa with private pool (looking for something bigger than a studio accomodation)
-nice beach on-site with swimmable ocean
-indoor bathrooms
-within reasonable walking distance to shops/restaurants

We're fine with properties that require lots of walking/climbing and don't care about spa amenities. Good restaurant(s) would be a plus but if we are close to other restaurants then it's not a must.

BTW, our default is to use SPG points for the W Samui or Le Meridien, but my understanding is that both of those properties have more studio accomodations with outdoor bathrooms, so we're trying to find a place that's a bit more luxe.
