The
duty-free limit to bring back alcohol is one liter. While the CBP states
here:
"A general rule of thumb is that 1 case of alcohol is a personal use quantity - although travelers are still subject to state restrictions which may allow less."
The
actual tariff is so modest that it doesn't seem cost-effective to collect it.
Still, I would
declare any alcohol I was importing in excess of one liter. What am I missing?
