Both on NZ423/487 ZK-OJR (AKL-WLG-AKL) they say that the inflight cell service would be available once the no cellphone signs where switched off. Although on both flights this didn't happen, anyone had any experience with this service? I asume AKL-WLG-AKL is to short for it?
Had an A320 WLG->AKL a couple of weeks ago. Full cell service available most of the flight. Prices are horrendous, though, so sent one txt for the fun of it, and left it at that.

But it worked.
