Hi everyone, hope you can give me some good advice. Planning a trip for Kuala Lumpur and Langkawi...two nights in KL. SPG properties:

-Sheraton Imperial
-Westin Kuala Lumpur
-Le Meridien

When I look at reviews on here, or on TripAdvisor...they're all mostly positive and I think one can't go wrong with either of these. So I'm trying to figure out which one to go with, a convenient location where there are lets say coffee houses or shops nearby within walking distance would be fantastic. I hear the monorail is right in front of the Sheraton, but not sure of what is nearby in terms of coffee, shops, dining etc. The rooms appear to be very nice here.

The Westin also looks great, and I know that Pavilion is apparently right across from it, but other than that I'm not sure.

The Le Meridien looks nice, but the others seem to be getting better ratings. I hear it's next to KL Sentral too, so maybe that is convenient.

Which property tends to be good for Platinum upgrades? That's something I would also like to see happen as it's a very special stay for me.

So if you guys can offer some guidance, I would very much appreciate it. I've always enjoyed SPG and look forward to Malaysia!!!!
