Per person the $132 works out quite well seems to me. If there's anything you can do that will work out better than $22/person, it won't be by very much and will involve more hassle. The only thing in theory that might come up significant is taking Megabus. You should be able to take that Toronto-NYC. It's quite hit or miss if you'll find tix that will beat that price on the date you need, though. Depends upon how full it already is.
