your prob right. believe it or not, the arrival time into NRT is different between the 744 and 77L (by a minute) so I get that message on my itineraries page on delta.com that says I may be able to change flights....
But I want the 744 with the angled seats on the way home, and not the 77L through MSP.

It don't hurt to ask. If not, I'll chalk this one up as a loss and try again for an award ticket on the refurb 744 later on in theyear.
