And just as bad (in my view), it seems that the airlines are using the same providers and showing the same stuff between them.

I'm seeing a lot of the same stale programs on other carriers. I took a long flight involving four 5,000mi segments on LH, Thai, NZ and LH again -- and half of the shows and films I were repeats from recent UA/CO flights. If the *A carriers have all started to use the same bundled providers, that's bad news indeed.
