YMMV, but I think the showers in the ANA lounge are fine. I haven't found the set up in the United lounge to be better in any meaningful way.
The other thing to bear in mind about the ANA lounge is that it's at the far end of the South Wing from the usual United gates. So you do a little more walking if you're connecting from UA to UA. Even so, I'd certainly head for the ANA lounge.
