It's not clear what the "hot deal" fare actually was - whether you actually mean "hotline" or some other thing is unclear.

If indeed your "hot deal" was someone else redeeming miles on your behalf, and charging you a commercial fare, then no miles or TPs would be earned.

If however you received a "hotline" fare, then you should have received full TPs for the fare paid.

That is likely to have been similar to a non-ref discounted fare (not sure if hotlines have a specific fare code?).

If this was the case then you'd get the base fare TPs and miles, and you'd have to call up to get the additional TPs and miles owed credited for your cash upgrade.
