Diamond Stay on Points during the Sugar Bowl:

1) The best location if you are attending events at the Superdome. Essentially contiguous. It's a decent walk to the Quarter and best done by cab at night.

2) As Diamond, received the basic room but Regency Club access. Bathrooms are small but well-appointed. No ventilation, however, which fogs up the mirror. Current chifferobe is inadequate and should be replaced.

3) Regency Club is well-staffed and has nice offerings. There should be a place for guests to drop dirty dishes when the staff are otherwise occupied.

4) Staff were very pleasant and attentive, despite being full. I had errors on my bill that required manager assistance and the on-duty manager was very attentive and followed through promptly.

5) Public spaces look great. I didn't eat at any of the venues but they were quite diverse and appealed to a variety of audiences.

6) Internet offerings: Diamond gets basic access which consists of one device at relatively high speed. There are two other options with multiple devices and netflix/hulu capacity. Seems a bit schemy to me.

A nice return to New Orleans by the Hyatt Chain.
