Because the 744 is a classic, especially when flying up top, even with a worse product. I mean, its not horrible, definitely doable.

I would have much preferred the refurbished 744. very, very disapointed. One of the reasons I booked this trip when I did was to get on the refurb 744. Maybe DL will let me postpone my trip for a week? But with my luck, it will be delayed a 2nd time, then a 3rd. Oh well.
