I would also be interested to see how Agoda handles this issue. I wouldn't be surprised if they contact everyone who got in on this and propose some kind of alternative. My reservation is refundable through Agoda. Hopefully whoever is first to go can report if we don't hear anything from Agoda prior.
I'm not very comfortable arriving jet lagged to Amsterdam and have NH tell me they will not honor the reservation. This puts me at the mercy of Agoda finding a suitable alternative which I might not like. I can always reject their alternative and stay with my backup reservation which can be cancelled up until 4 PM on day of arrival (and I should be arriving around 11AM).
