As someone who was laid off back in April, I can tell you that having FF miles and hotel points puts us in a much better position than other people who are out of work now. We can take much needed vacations for free (except for bar tabs on the ground...those are killing me!).

I wish I was in Chicago and I could just go to Wrigley field every day.
