I wasn't there, but here's a thought ... is it possible the FA didn't realize 1D had too much already ?
From your perspective, you had a "front row seat" (from the 2nd row

) and little to do to pre-occupy your time. The FA's on the other hand are working and aren't in too much of a position to be able and monitor an individual passenger.
The loud talking during the safety briefing could have been interpreted by the FA as rudeness. How many times, on planes where the PA volume automatically increases during engine start, have I heard people raise the volume of their personal conversations ?
And every flight has several passengers in First who think that the "electronics" rules don't apply to them.
On the other hand, I've personally been cut-off after 2 glasses of wine. I knew I was cutoff because as the FA started to reach across and re-fill my glass, she withdrew the bottle just as I was seeing the FA in the other aisle of the 767 waving her hand in a Blackjack style "stay" fashion. I was ignored the rest of the flight (SFO to HNL !!) and was very curious what I had done. As I got up to deplane, I was quickly reminded of my painful "heel spur" and hobbled off the plane. It was then that I realized an earlier hobble to the lav must've been seen and interpreted by an FA as a drunken stagger.
Perception is the key.
