Found the same for the same area (well, of course). So it works out to 5% off of the "internet only" rate. Well, it is a sandwich at a fast food restaurant. And since discounts other than the internet rate are scarce as hens' teeth at Motel 6, it's better than nothing. And I know the margins to take it out of are tiny.
Now, to the broader point about discounts, this is why I now always check the Choice Hotel family's rates. They often have promotions - points, sales - and even without them, they usually put the lie to Tom's claim that Motel 6s are "always the lowest price of any national chain".
Cards on the table: I remember when all Motel 6s were $6/night, and it was a BIG deal when they went up to $6.66.

(They did allow my family to hit the road, and materially helped nurture the travel bug.)
