As a solo, female, traveller I'm planning an overnight stop at LAX whilst en -route to AKL. Which hotel/s would you recommend and how far would it be to do a bit of plane spotting at Sepulveda Blvd - that well known burger place?
The closest hotels (walkable, about a mile) would be the Radisson and Courtyard near Century and Sepulveda. You can also catch a bus from right by any of the hotels between Airport Blvd and Aviation Blvd on Century to In-n-Out as well (Big Blue Bus 3 or Culver City 6, not rapid for either).
There's also the Custom Hotel on Lincoln, which is close to the north side runways (where the Quantas A380 can often be spotted from), and is also a bus ride from In-n-Out on the Big Blue Bus 3.
