Although I did have a rather amusing encounter when I MFU'd a Classics trip to Greece from ET to CE and my teacher tried to enter the forward cabin on the 767 and was denied access by the crew. Well we have to keep certain standards don't we?!

I was traveling with my folks to BOS one year and to make a point about using miles sensibly (Dad used them for WT tickets

) I had MFU'd the ticket I'd bought to CW. My Dad I suspect didn't believe that I'd done it till about a week before when he called and asked if I was actually going Club. So we arrive at LHR (T4) and he (with Mum) heads to the passengerless F desks (GCH) and asks if it's okay for me to check in with them there. Having had that sorted I head through Fast Track and get airside and wait for them there. We head off to the lounge complex and he says that they're off to the Flounge and I can go to the normal BA lounge.
So I then have a question that I need an answer to quickly and of course he either doesn't have his phone switched on or it's got no signal, either way I'm a bit stuck. So I head to the Flounge and explain the situation that my parents are stuck in WT and I need to ask them something before boarding. Lounge angel says that it's fine to go in and find them, I think from the look on her face finding it a touch funny that I'm in a higher class than them.

Dad made a comment when I pitched up about me being in the wrong place and standards, which I brushed aside tactfully asked my question and left. It made my point though and he started using his miles for CW travel not wasting them down the back.
