I apologize for being rude and lazy as others have noted. I did call Delta yesterday as I always do for clarification of policies. Nothing like hearing it straight from the horse's mouth right?

However, after being read to from what seemed to be a generalized script on excess baggage policies, I posted here. I was also disillusioned when the rep stated that at almost every screen during booking awards flights, the following disclaimer appears: "There may be additional fees for your carry-on/checked baggage and fees may differ per operating carrier." She deduced that the first part of the sentence applies to Delta bookings. She said that was all the information Delta officially provides. She wasn't sure how my particular airport would handle the issue but wished me luck with my attempt at pushing the luggage through. I was hoping for a glimmer of hope from some of the more experienced and helpful members here but I was prepared to hear the horror stories as well. I guess I overstepped some sort of boundary.

In the future, I will restrain from bumping my own thread (self promotion?) and provide detailed information on my attempts at acquiring the information I desire. If that still does not appease the powers that be on this forum, then please let me know and I will refrain from posting at all.
