Yes, and if Microsoft hadn't introduced the use of double file extentions then all this trouble would never have happened..
(Most of the current virus files are hidden in double file names like haha.scr.exe; Windows drops the last extension to make it look nicer, bit then you are still left with a file called haha.scr, seemingly a harmless screensaver. It's this stupid "feature" that allows most of the current scripts to work.
