If the concern is solely pickpocketing on the RER, just go to the restroom at CDG, go in a stall, and put all of your stuff in the middle of your luggage. In your pockets, just keep the token amount of money you need for the RER ticket machine, and a bit more for a coffee or whatever. So then the only thing in your pockets are like 20 euros.
