I am an aisle guy, but I highly recommend 9A or D if available.

I usually take the aisle b/c I like to get up once an hour to stretch my legs (arthritis). In 9 A & D I can do this without disturbing the aisle seat, even on the red-eye with the seats in full recline, and foot rests extended.
The only downside to row 9 is that it seems like it has become even more prone to cold air (drafts), so layer up and bring an extra long sleeve top in your carry on.
