Vijay Mallya has been rather active on twitter over the last couple hours:

"Even PM Manmohan Singh refers to "paid media" which should stop and encourages more honest and fact based reporting."

"Kingfisher is one thousand percent SAFE to fly. Safety is our absolute priority. We would never take the slightest chance or compromise."

"Looks like the over supply of Aviation journalists will have to take a pay cut if Kingfisher does not make daily headlines-correct or not!"

I'm not impressed

Insulting the very aviation journalists who control public perception of the airline isn't going to get good press, and it's clear from experiences posted that the airline certainly isn't worth flying on anymore regardless of its safety (which I strongly doubt is in very good shape).
