The taxes and fees for a first class award within the United States are the same as the taxes and fees for a coach award within the United States.
As far as mileage valuation goes, "value is what you pay." I enjoy traveling in international business and first class, but I would never pay the sticker price for it. On paper, I've gotten 20-30 cpm values on redemptions, but it's not exactly a fair comparison.
There are numerous bloggers out there who try to "value" miles. Value them as you see fit, not according to what others say.
