Once restrained a very angry man in them who proceeded to bend them in the middle we ended up putting another pair on.Great fun
The cuffs do have a solid bar in the middle and I find it inexplicable how someone (no matter how angry they are) could possibly bend the cuffs, to be honest. Anyways, we don't give the restrainee enough time/chance to try to damage the cuffs....
