I just departed BKK on a CX economy ticket and was held up at the check-in counter for about 20 minutes because they delayed the flight 30 minutes and saw that it would make me miss my connection in HGK. So they resolved that in such a way that didn't affect my overall itinerary at all but presumably to make up for the prolonged check-in process they gave me a fast Track pass. even though it was still like 3 hours until departure, I was on an economy ticket, have no kind of OW status at all and wasn't actually inconvenienced in any way by their resolution of the connection issue. Just the prolonged check-in while they resolved it. Very nice of CX.^ Immigration looked very busy and I was happy to get to the lounge faster. Sorry to hear about folks on paid F tickets standing in line
