mdtony. Broke? Try offering to buy drinks for an OZZIE ...

As an aside it is quite a while since BellissimAA posted here. (Or perhaps anywhere else on FT?) And without taking sides in the issue, that is a real shame.

I have followed this thread from the first post. I have to say for a few days I tended to suspect the person in the original photo posted probably did not exist and had a feeling the post was simply a 'wind-up' that got out of hand. I had somewhat similar thoughts to dhammer53 when he posted way back on June 17. The airbrushed photo on the website looked too much like it was lifted off a magazine, and there was nothing else on the webpage except that photo. But as they say, 'a week in politics is a lifetime'.

Nice to see this young lady does exist, is clearly a very nice person and stuck to her guns at all times. She arrived when and where she promised, and it is rather sad to have read much of the preceding pages with that in mind. And given BellissimAA certainly does exist had every right to respond how she did - and how. Any of us would have done the same surely on a BB where you knew no-one and were getting a 40 gun broadside simply for being yourself?

I for one hope BellissimAA returns to posting here, and Joh and I for starters would be pleased to meet her and to buy her a drink if she makes it to SeaDoo4 in August. dhammer53 will be there, and hopefully lisamcgu and it would be wonderful if 2 months down the track all three could with the benefit of hindsight, sip a beer and laugh about this very unusual example of group dynamics 'a la cyberspace' at work.
