Agreed. I swing back and forth between UA and AA all the time. I tend to like AA a little better. Can't really quantify that. But for safety? I think it's a COIN TOSS!

Personally, I am migrating more toward AA now that they are again under bankruptcy protection. It seems their fares are a little less then UA and I pay my own travel - so saving a C note here and there is important to me. But I fly both.
