Do a search for JFK-CPT threads routing thru AMS on KLM, that should equal 20K miles. Some were finding fares as low as 750-800 dollars.

Do that FO status is (nearly) yours in one trip...I think same day turnarounds were avail. It tough here for a newbie, I am trying to strech more miles on an ATL-BKK trip-the flight is cheaper leaving on Sun 3/25, but I hate having Fri night and all day sat sitting idle and not add to the mileage balance.
