Regarding row 17 on the 763, it's a great row to get if you're on a domestic flight. But in my experience you can only get it at the airport when the agent releases it. The computer has it coded as crew rest, which it is for international or long haul flights so I don't know if there are any exceptions to giving this in advance to anyone. While they are coach seats, they recline very far and have leg/foot rests. A great way to save stickers on upgrades if you can get one of these.
