Sorry, but I'm going to have to come to the defense of my friend DHammer53 here, who merely posted what many other flyertalkers were thinking, and discussing... admittedly including myself.

Maybe some of us have just been around here long enough that WE are aware that none of the rest of us is the least bit concerned about anyone elses appearance. We have flyertalkers of all shapes, sizes, color, income, status level and even some of us with (eek) no status. Perhaps as a new person you werent so sure of the FT hospitality, and felt the need to post your "incentive".

If any concern of outside appearances was belayed, it was in your own posts. Both your introductory post and your first post in this thread, discussed your "outside appearance" as well as your "availability". So not being able to think of a less childish way to phrase this... "you started it".

As that has never been a criteria required for FT'ers...especially Seattle ones to converge upon someone arriving in our city, it became the cause of discussion and some speculation.

DHammer along with many other FT'ers offered me tours of their home city well before I was around here long enough for anyone to know what I looked like, and they will continue to do so.

Once you've become a true FT addict like the rest of us, you'll see that even Yankee Fans like DHammer53 are pretty standup guys. If he's bad fruit, then I have to say I'll hang out in the bottom of the barrel with him anyday.

That all being said..I truly am sorry I'm unable to attend the BBQ tomorrow. But you are in the very best of FT hands in your hosts for the day. ENJOY!!
