Reasonable force is fine. But is physically manhandling the offender and booting him off the train reasonable? He wasn't causing any danger, nor threatening danger. He was being an arse. The train was being delayed, but there's no reason why the guard couldn't have allowed the train to continue and be met by the boys in blue; a more satisfactory outcome everybody.

Much as I applaud the Big Man - and would have been as delighted as anyone to see him throw the little scrote off the train - I would find it hard to argue that that was reasonable force.

Throwing somebody off a 777, however. That would be much more fun
